    Description

Beautiful Van Briggle "Figural Lamp Base", designed by acclaimed Artist Nellie V Walker. Extremely great condition! Works! No scratches, breaks, chips or flaws. 1940-1950's period. Rich Mahogany color matte glaze. I'm not sure what would stop it from being in mint condition! Lamp base is 10" tall x 5.5" bottom.
In addition, gorgeous condition "Butterfly Shade", made especially for Van Briggle Art Pottery. Genuine butterflies, milkweed floss, grasses & flowers are intricately arranged on a background of delicately colored fiberloid & covered with a transparent sheet of the same material. This creates an illusion of space, which is unique with this shade. Lamp shade is 7" tall, 5.5" top, 10" bottom. A few pieces of dried flowers have broken loose from age, but does not take away from it's beauty. All braided fabric edging is in tact.
You don't find many in this great condition.
Due to it's fragileness, I prefer local pick up. However, I will ship. Each piece will be boxed separately, packed well and shipping paid by the Buyer.
